About us

We are a community of professionals and enterprises that join forces in the field of production of abrasive materials and tools.

Our goal is to create an effective regulatory and legal mechanism for managing the production and sale of abrasive products in Ukraine. We strive to maintain uniform standards of product safety and quality, and we also support national manufacturers, creating favorable conditions for their development.

Our goal

The mission of the association

The mission of our association is to protect and represent the interests of the abrasive industry and support the promotion of abrasives produced in Ukraine. We actively inform the members of the association about the evolution of the regulatory and legal framework in Europe and the world, support manufacturers in technical, legal and scientific aspects, and also anticipate future challenges in the abrasive industry.

How we can help

The association's activities

The association’s activities cover a wide range of tasks:

Information exchange and education

We facilitate the exchange of information and the provision of education to members of the association through lectures, discussions, seminars, conferences and media appearances.

Spreading achievements

Dissemination of achievements of science, technical knowledge and best practices to support and develop the industry among members of the association.

Increase in classification

Collection, systematization and publication of information about the work of the association, industry problems and foreign experience, professional development of employees of the association’s members.

Participation in interdisciplinary events

The association actively interacts with industry participants in anti-dumping, special and other protective measures of other countries regarding abrasive industry products produced in Ukraine.

Standardization and cooperation with authorities

Development of quality and safety standards, cooperation with authorities on regulatory and legal regulation of the abrasives market, including joint projects on tariff, customs and anti-dumping regulation. Organization of joint measures against price increases and fees for raw materials during customs import into the territory of Ukraine.

International cooperation and image enhancement

The association contributes to the creation of a positive image of Ukrainian manufacturers among the public, especially at the international level. This includes joint action to combat counterfeit products and maintain high quality standards.
